My Story
Live, Love, Create
Jessica Lopez (Jess) is an actor, singer-songwriter, musician, and storyteller from South Central Los Angeles. She's currently in her fourth year at UC Irvine, double majoring: B.F.A. Music Theatre with Honors in Acting and Criminology, Law & Society, graduating June 2026.

Jess is known for her warm energy, collaborative spirit, and genuine love of meeting new people - all balance with a strong sense of professionalism and a dedicated work ethic. She shows up prepared, focused, and ready to contribute, while still keeping the environment light, welcoming, and fun. As an actor, Jess brings a unique blend of authenticity, presence, and versatility to every role she steps into. She's known for her grounded emotional truth, her sharp instincts, and her ability to make characters feel both relatable and alive.

Her training at UCI has allowed her to sharpen her technique across acting, voice, and movement, as well as gain experience in a wide range of performance styles. Jess is passionate about exploring roles that reflect her identity as a proud Mexican/Latina artist and about contributing to more inclusive storytelling within the industry.

A former softball player of nearly ten years, Jess grew up juggling sports, school and the performing arts - and that same drive hasn't faded. When she's not performing, you can probably find her at a live music event, discovering new artists, or writing melodies of her own.

Jess hopes to create work that feels inviting, heartfelt, and a little magical - the kind of art that makes people smile, think, or feel just a bit more connected.

Just Jess :)
At the end of the day, she's just Jess - kind, humble, hardworking, and committed to creating art that matters. She's here to tell meaningful stories, bring joy where she can, and open doors for the next generation of Mexican/Latina artists following their own dreams.

Thanks for being here. Can't wait to share what's coming next...
